Chicago gets Hard Knocks

The Bears have been chosen for Hard Knocks. If you aren't familiar with Hard Knocks, it's a show that follows teams during the preseason and gives you a look at some of the players' lives on and off the field. It is the best sports docu-series in my mind.
The Bears are an interesting team. They have a deep history with many legendary players, but recently they have had very mixed results, and the majority of the results are bad.
After many years, the Bears might be back. They drafted the next QB prodigy in Caleb Williams, added offensive weapons to surround Williams, and added much-needed depth on the defensive side of the ball.
Bears fans have to watch out for the Hard Knocks curse. This has been a topic for a few years now, but until last year, I wasn't a believer. After what happened to Aaron Rodgers and the Jets last year, I am convinced there is a curse. There have been very few teams since 2010 that have made it past the wild card round—two to be exact.
Expectations for the Bears shouldn't be too high, but I don't think making it to the playoffs is a stretch. It will ultimately come down to how Caleb Williams plays; he has already been named the starter. I think a comparison to the Texans last season would be fair, although I think the Bears have more weapons than the Texans did.
Hopefully, the Bears can break the Hard Knocks curse this season.
